Huge fire broke out in Bulbul Bagh
Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. A massive fire broke out in Bulbul Bagh area of Barjulla on Tuesday, creating an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. The flames were so strong that there was panic among the local people. The Fire and Emergency Services Department immediately reached the spot and had to work hard to control the fire.
2 dozen fire incidents in 24 hours
At the same time, if we talk about the last 24 hours, about 2 dozen fire incidents were reported in the valley. However, due to prompt action of fire brigade personnel, there was no loss of life in these incidents. According to the information, these incidents of arson took place in Srinagar, Anantnag, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts.
A cow shed was damaged in a fire at Rawalporamtipora in Bandipora's Ajas area on Tuesday morning, while dry grass caught fire near the Royal Spring Golf Course at Lalit Ghat in Srinagar.
Appeal to follow fire safety rules
Concerned department officials said that due to prompt and coordinated action, all the incidents were brought under control in time, due to which there was no huge loss of life and property and no casualties were reported.
Director General of Fire and Emergency Services Alok Kumar has appealed to the public to strictly follow fire safety rules. Use electrical appliances and gas cylinders carefully. Along with this, immediately inform the nearest fire station in case of any fire incident.
