State Bureau, Ranchi. Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, while commenting on the Union Budget, said that in the country, tax exemption to tax evaders and lies to the public is the essence of this budget.
The budget presented by the Union Finance Minister is a mere bundle of sweet words. Every year the budget of agriculture, education, defence, health etc. is being cut.
State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, while reacting to the Union Budget, said that it is not clear which section of the society is the focal point in the budget.
No one is able to understand for whom this budget has been made and who will benefit from it. Like Indrajal, it is a budget of complete confusion.
There is disappointment in every sector like industry, agriculture, health education. Jharkhand has the first role in providing minerals to the country, but Jharkhand has been kept away from the Rare Earth Corridor, Odisha has been included in it because there is a BJP government there.
Provision of less amount in MSME sector will discourage medium and small industries, lakhs of industries which are already facing economic crisis will be affected by this.
The agricultural world has been most disappointed, it was expected that the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi would be increased and exemption would be announced for farmers, but instead, tax exemption has been given to those traveling abroad.
Tax evaders have been given exemption, there will be no penalty for evasion, this is a step to encourage tax evaders. There is an increase of only one lakh crore in capital expenditure as compared to last year and the dream of a developed India is being shown.
This is a completely disappointing budget for Jharkhand. The absence of provision in the budget for the development of 25-year-old youth Jharkhand clearly explains the Centre's policy of discrimination against the states. An attempt has been made to mislead Indians by denying the present and showing them the dream of 2047.
