Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna paid obeisance at Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. Padma Bhushan awarded Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna visited Kashi Vishwanath temple on Friday and offered special prayers. This tour is linked to his recent release film ‘Akhanda-2’, in which he plays the powerful role of an Aghor protector.
Balakrishna reached Varanasi with director Boyapati Srinu. Both of them visited Lord Shiva in the temple and sought blessings for the success of the film.
In the temple premises, Balakrishna said that this film is not just Telugu cinema, but the film of entire India. The power of Sanatan Dharma gives the message of the path of truth and not bowing before unrighteousness.
Coming to the holy land of Kashi, I feel immense power. The film 'Akhanda-2' has been released on 12th December and is performing well at the box office.
Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the film stars Samyuktha in the lead role. Music is by S Thaman. The Varanasi tour is being considered a part of the North India promotion of the film, where the promotion is being done by adding scenes related to Aghor elements.
