Colors TV had announced 'The 50' during the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, but did not give much information about the show. 'The 50' is the Indian version of the popular French series 'Les Cinquante'.

The theme of the show will be bold

The topic of the show will be quite bold and 50 contestants will participate in it who will have to live in the Grand Palace without any set rules. There will be a lot of stir in the show and an atmosphere of uncertainty will be created. Since the announcement, fans are eager to know which contestants are going to participate in it. According to reports, at present the names of many celebrities, social media influencers and former Bigg Boss contestants are being discussed for the show. According to a report by Miss Malini, Hrithik Roshan's girlfriends Saba Azad and Emiway Bantai are expected to be seen in 'The 50'.

Other contestants include Ori, Shweta Tiwari, Nikki Tamboli, Imran Khan, Ankita Lokhande, Kusha Kapila, Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma, Anshula Kapoor, Tanya Mittal, Sreesanth, Shiv Thackeray, Urfi Javed, Prateek Sahajpal and Faisal Shaikh can also be a part of the show. According to reports, 'The 50' show is inspired by the French reality show 'Les Cinquante'. The show's promo features a man wearing a lion mask, hinting at a 'Squid Game'-like format. One will have to face mental and physical challenges while playing this game.

What did the fans demand?

As soon as the new promo was released, fans expressed their wishes in the comment section saying that they want to see Khanzadi (Firoza Khan) in the show. One user wrote in the comment section, "Want to see Khanzadi." Another said, "Want to see Archana and Khanzadi." Like Bigg Boss, 'The 50' will also be available on JioHotstar and Colors TV, making it easier for viewers to watch it. However, the show aims to create its own identity with a format that Indian audiences have never seen before. 'The 50' will premiere on February 1, 2026.
