Chetan Verma, Hisar. Finally, the Directorate of Education has again rekindled the hope of students studying in government schools getting dual desks to sit. Now students will neither be forced to sit on mats nor will they have to face problems due to lack of desks.
In the new academic session, students are going to get dual desks, for which students were waiting for the last three years. In the first phase, the Directorate of Education has selected 87 government schools in 13 districts. Students studying in these will be given 8654 dual desks. The list of providing desks has been issued to the concerned DEO. The second phase list will also be released soon.
In the first phase, Kaithal will get maximum 1404 dual desks. Sonipat will get 1345 dual desks at the second position and Hisar will get 1295 dual desks at the third position. Fatehabad will get 1203 dual desks at fourth position and 860 dual desks will be found at fifth position. Faridabad will not get a single dual desk. Also, Mahendragarh will get 117 dual desks and Kurukshetra will get 209 dual desks. After getting dual desks, the heads of the schools included in the selected list will fill a certificate. In which they will verify that their school has got so many dual desks. After filling all this information, the certificate will be sent to the DEO office through the concerned Block Education Officer, so that everyone's record is recorded. Hisar's District Education Officer Ved Singh Dahiya said that we have received the letter from the headquarters. In which a list of 87 government schools providing dual desks has been released. More than eight and a half thousand dual desks will be available. The school head will also fill the certificate.
