Breaking the lock of the house in broad daylight, stealing jewelery and cash.
Jagran correspondent, Jammu. An incident of theft in broad daylight has come to light in a house located on Ganesh Vihar Camp Road in Gol Gujral area of Domana. The thieves broke the locks of the house and escaped with gold jewelery and cash from the cupboard. On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered at Domana police station and investigation has been started.
In the complaint, Gol Gujral, resident of Gunveer Singh, said that he had gone to work on Friday. At around 12 noon he called his mother and told her that he was coming home and asked her to keep food ready. According to Gunveer Singh, his mother told that she had gone to someone's house.
When he reached home, he saw that the lock of the main door of the house was broken. On going inside, it was found that the lock of the cupboard was also broken and the gold jewelery kept in it and cash worth thousands of rupees were missing. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case. Taking cognizance of the matter, the police have started investigation and efforts are being made to collect clues from the surrounding area.
