Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. Ranveer Singh is enjoying the success of his film Dhurandhar these days. In the film, he played the role of an undercover spy agent who goes to Lyari, Pakistan and collects intelligence about people working against India there.

Made debut in year 2010

Meanwhile, news is coming that preparations are going on to re-release his another successful film in theatres. This was also the debut film of Ranveer Singh in which Anushka Sharma was seen with him. The film was released in the year 2010 and now it is set to be re-released after almost 15 years. The name of the movie is Band Baaja Baaraat and it has been announced by cinema exhibition company PVR INOX.

The film will be re-released in theaters on January 16. This announcement comes amid the tremendous success of Ranveer's recent film 'Dhurandhar' at the box office. PVR Cinemas wrote on its official Instagram handle, "Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and a romantic comedy that never gets old. Band Baaja Baaraat is back on the big screen - enjoy the fun again! #BandBaajaBaaraat re-releases on 16th January on PVR INOX!"

What is the story of Band Baaja Baaraat?

The film revolves around two ambitious young graduates from Delhi, Shruti (Anushka Sharma) and Bittu (Ranveer Singh), who start a wedding planning business named 'Shaadi Mubarak'. As they embark on a journey of friendship and trust in the turbulent world of Indian weddings, they fall in love. Band Baaja Baaraat was directed by Maneesh Sharma in his directorial debut. The film was a box office success upon its release in 2010 and Ranveer became an overnight star.
