Samvad Sutra, Purola. A massive fire incident took place in Guradi village of Mori tehsil on Wednesday morning, in which three residential buildings were burnt down. At the same time, 14 cattle died due to burning alive. Three families have been affected by the fire.
According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in the residential building of three villagers at around 5.19 am on Wednesday morning in Guradi village of Mori development block, which engulfed the buildings completely within no time. Village head Guradi informed about the fire on telephone, on which teams of Revenue Department, Fire Service, SDRF, Police, Veterinary and 108 rushed to the spot. Who brought the fire under control at around 7:35 with the help of local people. But by then the residential buildings were completely burnt. At the same time, the food items for daily consumption, bedding and utensils etc. kept in them were burnt.
In the fire incident, 2 cows, 1 bull of Ramchandra son of Dharam Dutt village, 5 goats, 1 cow of Bharat Mani son of Kedar Dutt, 2 sheep, 1 cow, 2 goats of Mamlesh son of Bharat Mani were burnt alive. Tehsildar Mori said that the cause of the incident was said to be short circuit.
At the same time, after the fire, Revenue Department Mori has distributed relief material to the affected families, in which 2 blankets, 1 tarpaulin and cash amount of Rs 5000 has been given to each family. Let us tell you that on December 29 also, four residential houses were burnt in a massive fire in Satta village of Mori, in which an elderly person also died due to being burnt alive.
