Three Overground Workers Of Terrorists Arrested In Srinagar, Posters Of Terrorist Organization And Objectionable Material Recovered.

State Bureau, Srinagar. Security forces arrested three overground workers of terrorists during a search operation in Bemina on Saturday. Posters of banned terrorist organizations and other objectionable material have been found from these three. The interrogation of all three was going on till the time this news was written late last night.

Confirming the arrest of three overground workers, the police said that today based on an expert information, a cordon and search operation was conducted in Bemina.

During this operation, three overground workers of terrorists were caught and they were identified as Uwais Mubarak Ittu, son of Mubarak Ittu, resident of Pandushan Shopian and Hilal Ahmed Hajjam, son of Abdul Razzaq Hajjam and Javed Ahmed Hajjam, son of Mohammad Yusuf Hajjam.

Both Hilal and Javed are residents of Brainwar Chadura in Budgam district. Posters of banned terrorist organizations and other objectionable items have been found from these three.

Although the police has not confirmed, it is being said that these three were also in constant touch with the terrorist handlers sitting across the border. All three were preparing for a meeting with their contacts and some active terrorists in Bemina when the security forces caught them.

Till the time this news was written late last night, the interrogation of all three was going on. A case FIR number 119/2025 has been registered against them under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) at Police Station Bemina.
