Jagran correspondent, Jalandhar. Due to fog, 22 trains have been canceled between the end of February and the first week of March. The situation is that after 9 am only Shatabdi and Shaan Punjab Express are coming.
In such a situation, due to absence of trains for three to four hours, the station also appears to be almost empty. Passengers whose trains are delayed are seen sitting in the circulating area, sunbathing.
Talking about the status of Wednesday's trains, Amritsar Clone Special Express arrived late by five and a quarter hours, while Amrapali Express arrived late by four and a half hours and Howrah Amritsar Mail by four and a quarter hours.
Apart from this, Sachkhand Express, Lohit Express was delayed by three and a half hours, Saryu Yamna Express by two and a half hours, Sambhalpur Express, Udhampur Superfast Express by two and a half hours, Hirakud Express by one and a half hour, Malwa Superfast Express by one and a half hour, Ludhiana Chheharta MEMU by one hour, Sarbat Da Bhala Express, Shalimar Express, Uttar Sampark Kranti Express by half an hour.
These trains have been cancelled.
Apart from 22 trains, passengers also faced problems due to cancellation of Jallianwala Bagh Express, Hisar Amritsar Express, Dehradun Express, Hoshiarpur Express, Jammu Mail, Jammu Tawi Garibrath Express, Udhampur Express on Wednesday.
These trains will be canceled till the end of February and first week of March.

Amritsar Chandigarh Express (14541 and 14542) till February 28, Amritsar Ajmer Express (19611 and 19614) till March 1, Akal Takht Express (12317 and 12318) till February 24, Durgyana Express (12357 and 12358) till February 28, Jalandhar Intercity Express (14681 and 14682) will remain canceled till March 1.
