Travel Between Delhi-Lucknow And Nainital Road Will Be Superfast: Bareilly's Biggest 'black Spot' Will Now Become A Speed Corridor.

The approach road of the under-construction six-lane flyover is being prepared. Awakening

Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. To increase the speed of vehicles on Lucknow-Delhi Highway and Nainital Road, the ongoing six-lane flyover construction work on Navadiya Jhaada was to be completed in January itself, but could not be completed on time. The structure has been ready, now the approach construction work is going on on the Nainital side, which is claimed to be completed within a month.

After this work will be done on Shahjahanpur side. It is expected that vehicular traffic will start from the flyover by the month of June. Navdiya Jhaada intersection is five km away from Pilibhit Bypass in the city via Nakatiya on Bisalpur Road. It is here that Lucknow-Delhi Highway is crossing Bisalpur Road.

Major accidents were happening here regularly, due to which the project of 980 meter six-lane flyover was approved at a cost of Rs 29 crore 83 lakh as corrective work two years ago after it was identified as the biggest black spot of the district. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Moradabad has given the contract to M/s Vishesh Infrastructure Private Limited.

The structure of the flyover has been ready. The construction work was to be completed on January 9, but it got delayed. At present the construction of the approach road on Nainital side is going on at a fast pace. It is being told that the work on this side will be completed within a month. After that the pace of construction of approach road on Shahjahanpur side will be increased.

It is being claimed that the work will be completed by next June. An underpass will be built below the flyover for traffic on Bisalpur Road. Currently this road is closed, a cut has been made at a distance of one kilometer on both sides of the highway, where one has to go around. Once the flyover is operational, while the speed of vehicles will increase on the Lucknow-Delhi Highway, traffic on Bisalpur Road will also become easier.

Construction of six lane flyover is going on at Navdiya Jhada. The structure is ready. Approaches are being constructed on both sides. At present the focus is on completing the approach on Nainital side. This will be completed in a month, after which the pace of work will be increased on Shahjahanpur side. Meanwhile, the work of underpass will also start. The project is likely to be completed by June.
