Tricolor Hoisted Proudly In Yamunapar On Republic Day, Oath Taken For Unity Of The Country

Republic Day celebrated with enthusiasm across Yamuna.

Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. On Republic Day, programs were organized at various places in Yamunapar on Monday. From DM and DCP offices to RWAs and social organizations, cultural programs were organized in residential areas. The oath of unity and integrity of the country was taken. Children presented cultural programs.

A program was organized on Republic Day at the DM office of Eastern District located in Geeta Colony. Administration officials and local people participated in it. DM Amol Srivastava hoisted the flag and saluted. While wishing Republic Day, DM told about the achievements of the district. He said that the Constitution came into force in the country on Republic Day itself. The Constitution gives everyone the right to express their views and equality.

Whereas RWA hoisted the flag in Yamuna Vihar C-2 block. Vijendra Sundar, Nitin Sharma, Kullu, Amit Jain, Sonu Pappu Sharma, Sachin Jain, Preeti, Ajay, Awadhesh, Mathur, Pappi were present on this occasion. Social organization Being Bright celebrated Republic Day in Trilokpuri-36 block. The elders hoisted the flag in this program.

President of the organization, Mumtaz Saifi said that the biggest beauty of our country is that there is unity in diversity. People of all religions and castes live together. On this occasion, Sunena, Maan Singh, Ameet Kumar alias Bablu, Rajveer, Treasurer of Hindu Muslim Sikh Christian Unity Committee, Riyazuddin Saifi, Riyasat Ali were present.

Republic Day celebrated in schools, students presented cultural programs

Republic Day was celebrated at Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Mayur Vihar Phase-I. The first Premjay Awards were presented to the six top students of the Secondary School Examination 2025. Three top students each from CBSE and DBSE were honored. Talat and Sakshi stood first, Priya and Bhumi stood second and Vanshika and Ishika stood third. SDM Sanjay Kumar was mainly present in it.

School Principal Anil Bhati said that many people have sacrificed their lives to get independence for the country. He told the students to study and join the army and serve the country. The program took place in the Government Higher Secondary Children's School in Mandoli. School Principal Sanjeev Ranjan hoisted the flag.

The role of the NSS volunteers of the school in successfully organizing the function was highly commendable. Referring to the academic achievements of the school, the Principal said that this year the school has achieved excellent results of 100% in class 10th and 97.6% in class 12th. MLA Chaudhary Surendra Kumar was mainly present in it.
