Two accused arrested in Love Jihad case in Gurugram. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Gurugram. Police have arrested two accused in the love jihad case that came to light in Gurugram, Haryana.
Taking action, the police of Police Station Sector-14 arrested two accused including the main accused and his associate from village Dhunela, Gurugram. Both have been identified as Arif alias Fake Aarav (35 years) and Tareef (34 years), residents of village Dhunela, Gurugram.
At the same time, the arrested accused confessed during police interrogation that accused Tareef earlier worked as a driver at Arif's place and in the year 2022, accused Arif was doing transport business. Both of them planned together and brought the victim in contact with her through an insurance policy and lured her into love through fake identity. After this, they got married in the temple and later carried out this crime by forcibly pressurizing them to convert.
The woman made these allegations
A woman has alleged that a young man, claiming to be a Hindu, developed a love relationship with her, married her in a temple and after having a child, forced her to convert by revealing his real identity as a Muslim. The victim has made serious allegations of assault, threats, blackmailing and fraud against the young man, his family members and associates.
In the complaint given to the police, the victim told that in the year 2022, she was working in the insurance department of an automobile workshop located in Sector-15 Part-II, Gurugram. During this time, he met a young man named Tareef Khan, who introduced him to his boss Arif Khan, who was introduced as Aarav.
It is alleged that Arif described himself as unmarried, Hindu and involved in contracting business. After winning the trust of the woman and her family, he promised marriage.

It was further told that Arif took the woman to a temple located on Sohna-Palwal Road, where the marriage took place as per Hindu customs by changing the garland and applying vermilion. After this both started living like husband and wife. After some time the woman became pregnant.
