Schedule changed due to addition and subtraction of seats
Let us tell you that some seats have been added by MCC while some seats have been removed. For this reason the dates have been changed.
Due to 18 thousand seats remaining vacant, changes were made in the percentile also.
With over 18,000 postgraduate medical seats remaining vacant across the country, the National Board of Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has revised the qualifying percentage for NEET-PG 2025 admission, reducing it from 40 per cent to zero per cent for reserved categories. The cutoff of NEET PG for general category other than reserved category was reduced from 50 percent to seven percent.
For the last several years, PG seats remained vacant in government as well as private medical colleges. Due to this, the Supreme Court had commented and told the government that the seats should not go vacant. Keeping this in view, the percentile was reduced to zero so that maximum seats could be filled.
