Vehicle Fraud In Himachal: Names And Addresses Of Owners Of Two Fortuners Registered In Bilaspur RLA Are Fake, Another Employee Suspected

The layers of fraud that came to light regarding vehicle registration in the Registration and Licensing Authority (RLA) branch of the SDM office in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh are now beginning to be revealed. Delhi Crime Branch's investigation has revealed that not only the vehicle numbers in the registration records of the two Toyota Fortuner vehicles registered here are suspicious, but the names and addresses of their owners have also been found to be fake. Two Toyota Fortuners were fraudulently registered in the Bilaspur RLA branch. Of these, the number of one vehicle is HP-24E-4948 and the number of the other is HP-24E-3974. Investigation revealed that the address registered for vehicle number HP-24E-4948 is shown as Manoj Kumar, resident of Jukhala, while for the other vehicle HP-24E-3974, the address registered is as Mohammad Nadeem Safi, resident of Bamta Sadar Tehsil. The surprising thing is that when investigation was done, no person with these names was found in both the areas.

Delhi Crime Branch had raided

Due to apprehension of serious irregularities in Bilaspur RLA branch, the team of Delhi Crime Branch had reached Bilaspur on January 21. The team arrested Subhash, an employee posted in the Deputy Commissioner's office, seized the records and took him to Delhi. Subhash was currently working as a Senior Assistant in the Deputy Commissioner's office, whereas before this he was posted as a Dealing Hand in Sadar Bilaspur RLA Branch.

Involvement of another employee

Another government employee Gaurav is also believed to be involved in this fraud. Gaurav Jhanduta is working in RLA branch and is still absconding. When the Delhi Crime Branch team raided Gaurav's house, his luxurious house and many vehicles were found there.
