Two Smugglers Arrested With Smack Worth One Crore In Shamli, Used To Bring It From Kairana And Supply It In Jhinjhana

Jagran correspondent, Shamli. Police arrested two drug smugglers with 510 grams of smack. The smugglers were going to purchase goods from Kairana and supply them in Jhinjhana police station area.

Police have also recovered a bike from the accused. The estimated value of the recovered smack in the international market is said to be around Rs 1 crore 2 lakh.

During the press conference organized in the police line, ASP Sumit Shukla said that at around 10 pm on Monday night, Jhinjhana police station was checking on the village Agadipur road near village Taprana on the Meerut-Karnal highway.

During this time, when two youths riding a bike were signaled to stop, seeing the police the bike riders started running back. The police caught both of them. During interrogation and search, 510 grams of smack was recovered from him.

The arrested accused were identified as Arshad son of Islam and Shariq son of Shahaddin, residents of Pavti Kala village. ASP told that the accused had purchased smack from Kairana. Had to supply in Jhinjhana area.

Sometimes he supplies to Haryana also. After finding out from where the smacks are being brought, they will also be caught soon. Told that the accused had already gone to jail from Haryana also. More is being known about his criminal history.
