Digital Desk, New Delhi. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Sir Sanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has said that the idea of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is good for the unity of the country. But it should be made only with everyone's consent and taking everyone into confidence. Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at a two-day lecture series organized to commemorate the centenary celebrations of the Sangh in Mumbai today.

In its centenary year, RSS had organized a two-day lecture series by its chief Sanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat in four metropolitan cities of the country. After Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi, the last lecture series was held in Mumbai on Saturday and Sunday. In two sessions held at Nehru Center in Mumbai on Saturday, Mohan Bhagwat had given the introduction of the Sangh and highlighted the action plan of the Sangh in detail.

In two sessions held on Sunday, he answered the questions of the audience invited to the program. In this sequence, Mohan Bhagwat was asked about implementing Uniform Civil Code in the country. Responding to which he said that it is a good idea. But this should be done taking everyone into confidence.

Giving the example of Uttarakhand government, he said that the government there took the opinion of the people of the state on the draft of UCC, and implemented it after garnering wide public support. He stressed that the implementation of UCC should not create division in the society. The legal framework should be such that it works to unite people, not divide them.

In the same sequence, when Mohan Bhagwat was asked whether any person from Scheduled Caste or Tribe would ever be able to become the head of the Sangh. Responding to this, the Sangh chief completely rejected the concept of caste system in the Sangh and said that no Brahmin can become the head of the Sangh, no one can become a Kshatriya, no one from any other caste can become, yes, whoever becomes the head of the Sangh will have to be a Hindu.

He said that people from all sections of society work in the Sangh. In this, being SC-ST is not a disqualification to become Sir Sanghchalak, and being a Brahmin is not a qualification. Also clarifying the retirement age in the Sangh, he said that after the age of 75 years, a person should work without taking any responsibility.

After turning 75, I had also proposed to retire. But people did not free him saying that you are healthy now. Are roaming around. Then what is the need to retire?

While clarifying the position of the Sangh on the reservation system, Mohan Bhagwat has made it clear that the role of the Sangh is that the reservation system should continue until the feeling of caste discrimination goes away. He said that caste discrimination cannot be corrected by law, it can be corrected only by willpower. Expressing concern over the misuse of laws made for caste discrimination, the Sangh chief said that such laws are also misused. This too must stop.

Speaking on the increasing imbalance of population in the country, Mohan Bhagwat once again supported the principle of having three children in every family and said that apart from this, infiltration and religious conversion taking place in the country are also becoming a major reason for population imbalance.

He said that on one hand forced conversions should be stopped, and those who have been converted should also be made to return home if they wish. On the other hand, large-scale infiltration in the country should also be stopped. Citizens should also be alert for this. Where any suspicious person is seen, it should be reported to the competent authority.

He also advised to avoid giving employment to any foreign person. Answering a question regarding atrocities on Hindus in the neighboring country Bangladesh, Sir Sanghchalak said that currently there are 1.25 crore Hindus in Bangladesh. If they stand united, then we and the Hindus living all over the world will help them as much as we can within our limits.

On a question regarding a conspiracy to break India again by 2047, Mohan Bhagwat said that instead of having the fear of 2047, we should imagine a united India in 2047. The dreams of those who harbor these plans will never be fulfilled. Now those who broke India will themselves be broken. The Sangh chief once again reiterated that do not form any impression about the Sangh on the basis of false propaganda or the views of others. Whatever assumption you make about the Sangh, make it on the basis of your experience.

Bharat Ratna to Savarkar

On the question of giving Bharat Ratna to Swatantraveer Savarkar, the Sangh chief said that if Savarkar gets Bharat Ratna, then the pride of that honor will only increase. However, he remains in millions of hearts even without the Bharat Ratna award.

Mohan Bhagwat, while speaking on the trade agreements being signed by India with many countries of the world, said that in today's world no country can walk alone. Everyone has to make trade agreements. In the last 10 years, we have seen that the present administration is making compromises only after seeing the interest of the country. We should make such a deal which does not cause any loss to us.

on a film like Dhurandhar

Mohan Bhagwat said that Sangh volunteers whisper about such films to each other, due to which more and more people are inspired to watch such films. Sometimes the Sangh branches also plan and go to watch such films.

Chyawanprash is a part of every Indian's life, it reduces diseases and increases energy.
