He has wished the US team all the best for the World Cup and described the team as strong. This statement of Trump has come at a time when the USA team under the captaincy of Monank Patel had given a tough challenge to India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
India faced a tough competition in the match against America and due to the captaincy innings of Suryakumar Yadav, Team India won the match. At one time, USA had left the Indian fans breathless as Team India had lost 6 wickets for 77 runs and in view of this, Trump has described his team as strong for the tournament and wished them all the best.

USA gave tough competition to India
The USA team was being underestimated before the World Cup, but the way the team performed in the match played against India on February 7, surprised everyone. At one time it seemed that the USA team was going to cause a big upset by defeating the Men in Blue. However, this did not happen and on the strength of captain Surya, India had made a respectable score of 161 runs, in response to which the USA team could score 132 runs and lost the match by 29 runs.

The USA team has caused upsets during the T20 World Cup 2024. He won in the super over while playing against Pakistan. In such a situation, after the match against India, other teams will want to be careful in the T20 World Cup 2026 and will not want to take them lightly.
