Two Vehicles Collided With A Parked Car On Jalandhar's Bhogpur Highway, Three Vehicles Damaged, Road Safety Force Cleared The Jam.

Accidental vehicle and road safety force reached the spot.

Jagran correspondent, Jalandhar. A major accident was almost averted due to a car parked in the middle of the road without giving an indicator on Friday near Dalli Cut on Bhogpur Highway in Jalandhar. A Bolero pickup first collided with the car parked on the road and the Alto car coming behind it also collided with the Bolero. All three vehicles were badly damaged in this accident, although it is a matter of relief that no one was seriously injured.

After the accident, all three vehicles were left standing in the middle of the road, due to which the traffic on the highway was completely affected. Pedestrians and drivers had to face a lot of trouble in passing and within some time there was a long traffic jam. As soon as information about the jam was received, the passers-by informed the Road Safety Force team.

Wagner was parked on the roadside without warning

According to the information received, Baljit Singh, resident of Wagonar car, resident of village Gehlara Bhogpur, was going towards Bhogpur in his car. Near Dalli Cut, he parked the car on the roadside without any indicator or warning and started waiting for someone. Meanwhile, the Mahindra Bolero pickup coming from behind could not see the car in time and collided with the Wagoneer. Soon after this, the Alto car coming from behind also collided with the Bolero pickup.

The collision was so strong that all three vehicles were damaged. After the accident, there was chaos on the road and long queues of vehicles formed. After receiving the information, the Road Safety Force team reached the spot under the leadership of ASI Randhir Singh.

Security forces took charge of the situation

The team immediately installed safety cones in the middle of the road and shifted the damaged vehicles to the side. After a lot of effort, the jam was cleared and the traffic was normalized. Information about the incident has also been given to Bhogpur police station. Police reached the spot, took stock of the situation and interrogated the drivers. The administration has appealed to the drivers to follow indicators and safety rules while parking their vehicles on the road, so that such incidents can be avoided.
