Jagran Team, Lucknow. Due to western disturbance, changes are being seen in the weather. There was fog in many districts on Monday, while in Lucknow and surrounding cities the sky remained cloudy amidst light sunshine during the day. With the movement of clouds, cold winds started blowing, due to which a slight drop in temperature was felt.
There will be no relief from cold today
If we talk about today's weather, today i.e. on 3rd February, there will be fog in the morning in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Baghpat, Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur, Amroha, Sambhal, Agra, Hathras, Aligarh and 11 other districts of Uttar Pradesh. The cold will not reduce today due to the blowing wind.
Rain and hail forecast in 10 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain and hailstorm in 10 districts including Agra and Moradabad divisions. There is a possibility of drizzle in central UP amid the possibility of thunder and lightning. There will be fog in most of the districts.
Possibility of sporadic rain in the plains of India
According to the Meteorological Department report, the maximum humidity was 95 percent and minimum 48 percent. The wind speed was recorded at 2 kilometers per hour. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate sporadic rain or snowfall in the Himalayan region due to the influence of western disturbance on February 3. Whereas there is a possibility of scattered rain in the plains of North-Western India and Central India.
Meteorologist Dr SN Sunil Pandey said that this time the disturbance which is active will not have much impact. Its effect will be visible on 3rd and 4th February and then the weather will start becoming normal. There is also a possibility of light fog in the morning and night. However, there is hope of some relief from the cold due to light sunshine during the day.
Dr SN Sunil Pandey has advised farmers to take necessary precautions to protect the standing crops keeping in mind the possible hailstorm and strong winds.
