When the Energy Corporation prepared to disconnect the connection, the local people expressed anger towards the Energy Corporation employees. The consumer asked for two days' time from the Energy Corporation to deposit the electricity bill.
According to the information, Naresh Verma had installed a solar energy plant at his residence about three years ago. After this, the problem of not receiving bills regularly started. Consumer Naresh Verma says that he went to the Energy Corporation office several times and requested orally and in writing that his electricity bill be sent, so that no outstanding situation arises in future.
Despite this, no concrete action was taken by the Energy Corporation. The matter came to light when the Energy Corporation team came to disconnect the connection citing outstanding bills. The consumer expressed displeasure over the action of the Energy Corporation.
SDO Akshay Kapil said that he took charge only six months ago. They are not aware of the previous situation. But, old records will see why the electricity bill has not been sent to the concerned consumer. 60 thousand rupees are outstanding due to non-payment of electricity bill for last three years. The consumer has asked for two days' time.
