The Ministry of Civil Aviation conducts impartial investigation of railway projects and accidents through the officers of this safety body under its control, which is headed by the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety. After the safety check of doubling of railway tracks, new railway line, gauge conversion etc. taking place in the Railway Division, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) gives permission to start the operations.
In such a situation, Garg's visit is being seen as a preparation to start the operation of the ropeway soon. It is being speculated that before operating the ropeway, safety check can be done by CCRS. Since ropeway operation in Varanasi is the dream project of the Prime Minister, those responsible will not commit any mistake in the safety check. ADRM Brijesh Yadav, Station Director Arpit Gupta and Ropeway Project Director Pooja Mishra etc. officers were present.
