The certificates of disabled teachers posted in council schools will be verified.
Jagran correspondent, Padrauna. There will be a thorough scrutiny of the disability and educational certificates of the disabled teachers posted in the council schools of the district. So that those who got jobs on the basis of fake certificates can be identified. This step has been taken in view of the increasing cases of fraud in the Basic Education Department. If any teacher is found ineligible during the investigation or the certificate is found to be fake, his service will be terminated.
After receiving a letter to this effect from DG School Education, BSA Dr. Ramjiavan Maurya has asked all the BEOs to prepare the list of disabled teachers posted in their respective blocks. Also, a report has been sought after verifying the certificates within the stipulated time period.
Suspicious cases will be investigated
BSA has said that the educational and disability certificates of those who get jobs on the basis of disability certificate should be thoroughly scrutinized. Get detailed investigation done in cases of teachers whose certificates appear doubtful. So that the truth can come out.
If any kind of irregularity or fraud comes to light, action will be taken against the concerned as per rules. The department says that this step has been taken in the interest of honest and eligible teachers, so that the benefit of physically handicapped quota can be availed by the genuinely needy ones.
52 disabled teachers are posted in 2463 schools.
There are a total of 2463 primary, upper primary and composite schools in the district. The number of teachers, Shiksha Mitras and instructors posted in these is ten thousand. According to the department, there are 52 disabled teachers among the teachers posted in schools.
Orders have been given to all BEOs to check the educational and disability certificates of disabled teachers posted in council schools. If the certificate is found to be fake, action will be taken against the concerned teacher as per rules. -Dr. Ramjiavan Maurya, BSA.
