Digital Desk, Shimla. The ongoing confusion regarding Panchayat elections in Himachal Pradesh ended on Friday. The Supreme Court, while hearing the petition of the state government today, has directed that the elections of Panchayati Raj institutions and municipal bodies in the state should be conducted before May 31, 2026. A bench headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant accepted the government's appeal and disposed of the case.
