Digital Desk, New Delhi. America has launched another round of retaliatory strikes against the Islamic State (ISIS). The massive strikes, carried out by US and allied forces, took place around 12:30 pm local time.
These attacks targeted several ISIS positions across Syria. Later the Jordanian army also announced its participation in these attacks. Saturday's strikes are part of a broader campaign by President Donald Trump in response to last month's deadly ISIS attack in Palmyra that killed Sergeant Edgar Brian Torres-Tovars, Sergeant William Nathaniel Howard and civilian interpreter Ayad Mansour Sakat.
US Central Command said on Saturday, “Our message is clear, if you harm our soldiers, we will find you anywhere in the world and kill you.”
