On the afternoon of January 7, the wife mixed sleeping pills in the food, due to which he and his two-year-old daughter fell into a deep sleep. It is alleged that after which the wife took Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand kept in the house and went away with her lover.
The married woman also left her two year old daughter at home. The young man told that some people saw his wife going with a young man. He searched extensively for his wife and the young man but could not find any trace of them. The victim demanded the police to take strict action against the wife and her lover. Police have started investigation.
Police station chief Gadhipukhta Ashok Kumar said that a case was registered on the basis of the complaint. The woman and the young man are being searched. At the same time, after the incident, the young man along with his daughter has left his house in Gadhipukhta and gone to another village, and is living in a rented house there.
