Digital Desk, New Delhi. Delhi Police on Thursday arrested two persons after a clash broke out near an Akhara in Shahbad Dairy area. The incident took place on February 12, in which a 24-year-old woman was allegedly stopped in the middle of the road and beaten up. According to the police, no communal angle has emerged in the investigation so far. This was a clash between neighbors living in the same locality.

On February 12, information about the clash was received at Shahbad Dairy police station. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot. Delhi Police said that the injured had already been shifted to MV Hospital. An MLC (medico-legal certificate) of the injured was prepared at the hospital, in which the injuries were recorded as physical assault. The statement of the complainant was recorded in the hospital.

According to the police, the 24-year-old complainant is a resident of Shahbad Dairy. The victim had alleged that there was a clash near the Akhara on February 12 at around 6:30 pm. He further alleged that while on his way he was wrongly stopped and assaulted by accused Mohammad Qadir and his son Ravi Ahmed. During this time he suffered serious injuries. On the basis of his statement and that of the MLC, an FIR was registered at PS Shahbad Dairy on 12 February. Apart from this, Section 74 BNS has also been added.

Accused Mohd. Qadir and Ravi Ahmed are residents of Shahabad Dairy area. Their age is around 21 years and 52 years respectively. Police have arrested both of them. It is noteworthy that before this Mohd. There had already been a clash between Qadir and the complainant's brother Hariya over some issue.
