1,73,579 voters could not give information about their generations.
Samvad Sutra, Sitapur. The work of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter list has been completed. The provisional voter list will be published on December 31. Names of 6,23,817 voters will be removed. Notices will be sent to 1,73,579 voters as their records do not match with the voter list of 2003. These voters have not been able to give information about their generations. 94.55 percent names have been matched with the 2003 list.
Of the 6,23,817 voters whose names will be deleted, 2,46,901 are permanently transferred, 1,29,101 dead, 55,579 duplicate and 1,73,227 absent and 19,009 other category voters.
Additional Election Officer Nitish Kumar Singh said that the provisional voter list will be released on December 31. Claims and objections will be taken on the list from December 31 to January 30, 2026.
Decisions on calculation forms and disposal of claims and objections will be made in the notice phase from December 31 to February 21, 2026. Then the final voter list will be released on 28 February 2026. He told that in two weeks the work was done to search those voters who were included in transferred, dead, duplicate, absent (ASD) and other categories.
Re-verification was done by handing over booth-wise lists of such voters to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) as well as Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of political parties.
Become a voter by filling Form 6
Special Intensive Revision (SIR) work has been done on the 2025 voter list. There were 31,90,806 voters in this. Such boys and girls who are completing 18 years of age on 1st January 2026. Or a person for some reason was not included in the voter list till now and he has valid papers. Such people can get their names included in the voter list by filling Form 6.
