Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Despite the increase in the number of traffic policemen, the problem of traffic jams continues within the city. On Tuesday, there was a long traffic jam from Golghar Kali Temple to Dharamshala Overbridge. Vehicles were seen crawling. The same situation continued from the Commissioner's office till Ambedkar Nagar intersection. People passing through these routes daily took a lot of time to cross the intersection. People passing through these routes every day say that as soon as they get down from the Dharamshala overbridge, the drivers start turning to the right, due to which the traffic is being disrupted. Whereas a home guard is deployed on the bridge to stop vehicles. Despite this people do not believe.
Earlier the traffic police had installed a barrier here. The vehicles coming down from the bridge were first allowed to go straight, then they were diverted, thereby avoiding jams. The problem has increased since the barrier was removed.

Apart from this, traffic jam is also being created due to auto drivers standing in the left lane in front of Golghar Kali temple. On one side, an auto stand has been made by the Municipal Corporation at Ambedkar Nagar intersection, but on the other side, autos and carts are parked without a stand in front of the Civil Court, due to which the traffic is affected.
Ritesh Singh, Harsh, Puneet Dhar Dubey and others say that everyone from TI to Home Guard is deployed at the intersection, despite this the auto drivers do not move from there.
