Hindu organizations organized a mahapanchayat on Sunday over the non-arrest of the accused named in the case of attempt to convert a minor girl in a village mosque in the Sadar police station area. During this, anger was expressed towards the government and administration for not arresting the accused till now. This Mahapanchayat was presided over by 52 Pal chief Arun Zaildar.
A 31-member committee was formed in the Panchayat and it was decided that the committee would soon meet the administration. If the accused are not arrested within 15 days, then a big movement will be organized by holding a Mahapanchayat. During this, Bajrang Dal's North Province General Secretary Munish Bhardwaj, BJP leaders Sanjay Gurjar, Gyan Singh Chauhan, Bharat Bhushan, Rajendra Baisla, Vikram Sisodia, Sanjay Jaimini, Sambhu Pehalwan etc. were present. The father of the minor victim was also present in the Panchayat.
The victim's father said that the Maulvi and the youth named in this case have been arrested so far. Along with these, three other people have also been arrested while other named people are roaming freely. He is not being arrested. He is constantly being given death threats from the accused party if he does not withdraw the case.
Let us tell you that a village resident of Sadar police station area had lodged a complaint that his 15-year-old minor daughter was not found at home on the evening of 25 September. During the search, he heard his daughter screaming from the big mosque of the village.
When he went inside the mosque, he saw that the Maulvi and another person were quarreling with his daughter. Four other named persons and two women were also present there, who were carrying out religious conversions with the Quran.
The complainant told that he rescued the girl from there. The girl cried and told that the Maulvi cut off the Kalava and Rakhis from her hand and wiped off the Tilak from her forehead. Pressure was put on him to offer namaz and convert. The girl had also accused the Maulvi of misbehavior and molestation.
