19 Annapurna Buildings Will Be Constructed In Ayodhya At A Cost Of Rs 3.5 Crore, A Total Of 980 Galla Shops In The District.

19 Annapurna buildings will be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore.

Jagran correspondent, Ayodhya. The state government is constructing Annapurna Bhawan for the convenience of the Kotedars. Annapurna Bhawan will be allotted to government cattle vendors. This scheme is expanding rapidly from villages to cities. In this sequence, the government has given green signal to the construction of 19 new Annapurna buildings in the district. A total of Rs 3.5 crore will be spent on this scheme.

Eight lakh 46 thousand rupees will be spent on the construction of an Annapurna building. Executive officers of municipal bodies and rural development agencies in rural areas have been entrusted with the responsibility of construction. Out of 19 shops, 13 will be built in urban areas and six in rural areas. The District Supply Office had sent a proposal to the government for the construction of a total of 102 Anna Purna buildings (Galla shops). Apart from the department, it is proposed to construct Annapurna buildings under MNREGA.

The government has approved 27 proposals and has allocated funds for the construction of 19 of them. Their construction work will start soon. District Supply Officer Brijesh Kumar Mishra said that 13 shops will be built in Nagar Panchayat area and six rural area shops, in which Rudauli, Nagar area, Mawai, Kumarganj, Bikapur have been selected.

The executing agencies are instructed to complete the construction by March 2026. After construction, these shops will first be handed over to the District Supply Department. Later, these shops will be given to government galla vendors under the supervision of District Supply Officer.
