Jagran correspondent, Kaithal. A batch of youth deported from the US arrived at the Delhi airport on Wednesday night, most of whom were from Haryana. He was sent home from Delhi on Thursday.
Most of the youth reached America through the dirty route. Some had reached America two years ago and some a year ago. Six youth had gone to America only eight months ago. 31 youth of Haryana reached their respective villages. Some had spent Rs 30 to 40 lakh, while others had found their way to America by selling land, taking loans or borrowing from relatives.
Among the youth deported, maximum seven are from Kurukshetra district, while six are from Kaithal. Two are from Panipat, two from Yamunanagar, four from Ambala, one from Hisar, three from Jind, four from Karnal, one from Sonipat and one from Rohtak. The administration has kept the complete information of deported youth confidential.
Everyone was sent to their homes secretly. Earlier, the police used to bring the youth who were to be deported and send them home after checking their criminal records, but this time the entire process was kept secret. Relatives say that they had invested their entire savings to send their children abroad and now they have returned home empty handed. Instead of coming home, many youth have gone to their relatives' places.
Youth said- don't go to America through donkey route
A young man told that he had gone to America through the Donkey Route a year ago. About Rs 40 lakh was given to the agent and he was caught as soon as he went there. After this was put in the distance center. Checking is happening every day in America. There is no hearing there, they are directly deported. Even proper food is not available in the detention centre, only rice and bread are available. The youth says that no one should go to America through the donkey route.
Youth returned after three years
A youth from Sevan area returned from America after three years, he told that he was living in the center for six months, his father said that the boy returned safely, this is a big thing for us. You will earn money here also. The young man's father told that we have no complaint against anyone, what was destined to happen happened. We will not even give any complaint.
A young man from Kaithal reached the village in the afternoon, he told that everything of his was ruined, he had sold one acre of land and went to America through the donkey route, now he has been deported. The land and money that was there was also gone. The family members are also in bad condition along with the young man. The lady of the family said that she could have earned a living on one acre of land, but that land was also lost.
These youth of Kaithal district returned from America. Six youth of Kaithal who were deported have reached their respective villages. These include Sanjeev Kumar of village Khedi Raiwali, Gurdev of Sismaur, Sahil of village Songal, Dherdu Sajjan, Sohan Lal of Dhand and Amit Kumar.
