Scary Journey Of Car Written By UP Government: Former BDC Member Kept Dragging The Farmer Trapped Under The Wheels For 16 Km

The farmer was trapped under this car

Jagran correspondent, Badaun. Former Kshetra Panchayat member (BDC member) Pravendra Pratap Singh dragged the trapped farmer for 16 km in his I-10 car. When he reached the city on Friday night, he noticed the youth riding a Scorpio coming from behind. He stopped Pravendra by making noise that someone was trapped under the Aeon. After this, the farmer was pulled out from under his car but he was already dead. Sadly, if Pravendra had applied the brakes in time, the farmer's life could have been saved.

Pravendra Pratap Singh runs a Agarasi fertilizer and seed shop. His father Sanjay Singh is Principal Assistant in the Agriculture Department. Pravendra closed the shop late on Friday evening, after which he met some people and left for his house located in Agricultural Colony in the city. Uttar Pradesh Government is also written on both the number plates of his car.

According to the police, when his car reached Lalpul at 9 pm, youths riding a Scorpio overtook and stopped him. Told him that I have been following him for half a kilometer, someone is trapped under your car. After this, when Pravendra got down from the car, a bleeding young man was trapped under it. Meanwhile, Inspector Sanjay Kumar Singh had also reached.

He told that the young man trapped in the car was immediately sent to the district hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Later it was revealed that Ghalendra Kumar, resident of Majhra Raipur village, was trapped in the car. After informing his relatives, car driver Pravendra Pratap Singh was brought to the police station. He said that there was no accident on the way, no person even collided with the car.

Near Asrasi petrol pump it was felt that some wood or object was stuck under the car. Due to this there was a noise for some time which later stopped. Thought that the object stuck in the car might have come out, so did not apply brakes and continued towards the city. Inspector told that the distance from Asrasi to Lalpul is 16 km.

Pravendra is apprehensive that the injured person from another vehicle might later get trapped under his car. His statement has been recorded but it is not being believed right now. CCTV footage is being searched on that road. The footage of petrol pump cameras will also be seen. The investigation will clarify how the farmer lost his life. Pravendra dragged him after hitting him or he got trapped in this car when he was lying on the road after getting injured in some other accident.
