71 Bottles Of Liquor Going From Haryana To Bihar Seized, Manager Of Side Pantry Of Train Arrested

Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. The manager of the side pantry of the train used to take liquor from Haryana and deliver it to Bihar. A joint team of RPF and GRP found 71 bottles of liquor from this manager in the general bogie of Saryu Yamuna Express going from Amritsar to Jaynagar. The manager was arrested.

The Crime Information Branch of RPF had received information about illegal liquor smuggling from Saryu Yamuna Express. Under Operation Vigilant, RPF formed a joint team with GRP and inspected the 14650 Amritsar-Jayanagar Saryu Yamuna Express which arrived on platform number two. 71 bottles of liquor of different brands of Haryana in several cartons were seized from Gonda resident Setubandh, manager of the side pantry in the general bogie. During interrogation, he told that this liquor is sold at expensive prices in Bihar.
