There was silence on the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas on Saturday when 74-year-old Roshni Devi, a resident of Mandaiya, Ghungharala, arrived with her son Balram Singh and started crying. The old man told the DM that he was married to Mahendra Singh in 1970. Then he has 22 bighas of land. Since marriage, he drinks and fights and sells his land every year.

Now he has only five bighas of land left. He has five sons. Now the husband is preparing to sell that land also. Seeing this, DM and SP understood the whole matter and kept listening to him for 15 minutes. Now the matter has been handed over to Sadar Tehsildar and SDM for solution.

A gathering of officers gathered to listen to the problems of the complainants in the Total Solution Day organized on Saturday in the Municipality Auditorium, but many people returned disappointed as most of the complaints were not resolved on the spot. A total of 21 complaints were registered during Samadhan Diwas, out of which only four could be resolved immediately.

In the Samadhan Diwas organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey and Superintendent of Police Kuwar Gyananjay Singh, people from the city and rural areas presented complaints related to roads, encroachment, property disputes, metering and police action. During this, Vijaypal Singh of Sanjay Vihar demanded construction of interlocking road, Indra and Dharam Singh of Bhimnagar demanded removal of encroachment from the street, Moolchand of Naan demanded removal of encroachment on Chakroad.

Abhinav Gupta of Garh Road filed a report to recover the amount, Neeru Bansal of Krishna Nagar and Sudesh of Harsinghpur filed a complaint to get police action, while Ramchand of Navi Karim filed a complaint of forcible possession of the property. Anil Azad of Lajjapuri raised the issue of filing the report and closure of the road by Geeta.

Apart from this, Roshni of Ghungharala demanded action in the case of assault, Rameshwari Devi of Sadullapur and Jai Bhagwan of Shivgarhi demanded measurement, Abhay Singh of Sabli demanded demarcation, Naresh Kumar of Harnathpur Kota demanded action for fine, Nawab Khan of Brajnathpur demanded possession of the graveyard and Mohit of Imtauri demanded opening of the drain. Meanwhile, Finance and Accounts Officer of the District Basic Education Department, Rita Arya has complained to the District Magistrate, accusing the officials of the Non-Teaching Employees Association of creating obstruction in the government work.

He told that on February 4, Sangh members and officials reached his office and disrupted the departmental work while raising slogans. Employees staged a protest in the office and sat on the floor, affecting work. There is no file pending on his table, despite this there was unnecessary protest. The District Magistrate directed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure timely and quality disposal of complaints.
