The fire spread in densely populated buildings in the area and created chaos nearby. According to local people, the fire broke out suddenly and spread rapidly, causing dense smoke to engulf the entire area.

As soon as the information was received, a fire engine of Delhi Fire Service immediately reached the spot. Firefighters are making continuous efforts to control the fire. The rescue work is going on in full swing and no casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is not yet clear, but short circuit or gas leak is suspected.
