Shobhit Verma, Meerut. Today Meerut's dream of becoming the country's first rapid city is taking shape. Now the people of Meerut traveling in the fastest running metro train will talk to the air. Yes...after a long wait of almost seven years, Meerut's Udanpari will take flight on Sunday.
The head of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will give a big and double gift of rail transport to Meerut by inaugurating the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) i.e. Namo Bharat Rapid Train and Metro service (Meerut Metro).
With the commencement of this much-awaited project, travel between Meerut and Delhi will become faster, safer and easier. This is also expected to give new impetus to business, employment and urban development. Imagine, you wake up late in the morning and you have to reach office or school on time.

Generally, in such a situation, the body shudders just thinking about road jams and haphazard traffic. But, the traffic jam which troubles the common man daily will appear helpless from Sunday.
The dust flying on the way will not touch you and the smell of garbage lying everywhere on the roadside will not bother you because the faint sound of Namo Bharat and Metro will be giving you the message of fulfilling your wish of reaching Delhi, 100 kilometers away or from one corner of the city to another in a few minutes.

Delhi, which used to seem far away due to buses crawling on the city's crowded streets and dusty roads, has now reduced its travel time from hours to minutes by Udanpari.
