Dialogue partner, Milak. Gulfam, accused of brutally murdering a seven-year-old boy, has been sent to jail by the police. Before sending him to jail, the police interrogated the accused, in which he admitted to being drunk at the time of the incident. It was also told that when he protested against the rape, he beat the child mercilessly, due to which he became breathless.
Just then the village woman was seen coming there, on which he ran carrying the child in her lap. The boy's brother was found on the way. Saying that the child has been bitten by a snake, he handed over the child to his brother and ran away. The incident took place in a village in Milak Kotwali area. At four o'clock on Saturday evening, the seven-year-old son of a rickshaw puller had gone to the neighboring shop to buy some household items.
Gulfam from the same village, who was already present at the shop, lured her to the nearby forest on the pretext of getting her something and raped her. When the child protested, the youth showed cruelty and beat him. The child kept screaming. On this the young man ran away leaving her in a bloody condition.
The child somehow reached his home. The family members were shocked to see him. He informed his relatives about the incident. Since the accused belonged to the village, the child used to call him uncle. He told that uncle Gulfam had put him in this condition. The relatives took him to a private hospital in Shahabad.
From here he was brought to Milak Community Health Center. The doctors declared him dead after seeing him. After getting information about the incident, the police arrested the accused from near Rewari Kala village on Shahbad-Patwai road. An FIR was registered against him under POCSO Act. On Monday, the police sent him to jail on the orders of the court.
The police interrogated him before taking him to jail. He told that I was drunk. He had taken a child from his own village to the farm by luring him with something. He started doing wrong things to him right on the ridge of the field, due to which the child started screaming. I beat him with kicks, punches and hands. He became breathless due to the beating.
Meanwhile, a woman was coming from the village side to collect grass from the fields. Seeing this, the child was made to stand for fear of getting trapped, but he had become unconscious. Then he picked her up in his lap and brought her towards the road. The boy's elder brother was harvesting berseem in the nearby fields.
Seeing my brother in my lap, he asked about him and I told him that the child was bitten by a snake and handed him over to him. He took his brother home. Due to fear, I did not go to the village and hid in the mustard field. Later I came to know that the child had died.
Gulfam was admitted in de-addiction center
Gulfam, accused of murdering a child after raping him, is a drug addict. His relatives are also troubled by his drug addiction. He was also admitted to the drug de-addiction center Shahbad six months ago to get rid of his addiction, but he could not get rid of his addiction.
Police collected sample for DNA test
Milak Kotwal Pushkar Singh said that the murder accused has been sent to jail after medical on Monday. Before this, his sample has been taken for DNA test, which will be sent for matching with the blood and other evidence found on the dead body. This will be important evidence in the prosecution of the case.
