Car entered the shop in Awas Vikas Colony.
Jasan, Agra. At 3 o'clock on Monday night in Sikandra Awas Vikas Colony, a speeding car broke the shutter and entered the shop on the Kunj-Kargil road. Due to the fierce collision, the roof of the shop fell on the car. Four youths traveling in the car got trapped in it. The police reached the spot, removed the debris from the roof, took out the injured youth and admitted them to the hospital.
The lives of the youth were saved when the airbags opened. The condition of the driver remains critical. The incident occurred at 2:50 pm on Monday night. According to the police, Bodla resident Abhishek Verma was coming from Kar Kunj towards Kargil with his three friends. Akash resident of Surendra Nagar Aligarh, Vikas resident of Madrak Aligarh and Yash resident of Sikandra Rao were present with him in the car.
The four friends were returning home from Bhagwan Talkies. The car went out of control at high speed near Sector 9 Mayor Camp office. Nabi broke the garage shutter and entered the shop. Due to the fierce collision, the roof of the shop fell on the car. Hearing the loud bang, nearby people and passers-by gathered there. With the help of people, the police pulled out the youth trapped in the car.
He was admitted to SN Medical College. According to doctors, the condition of driver Abhishek Verma remains critical. The condition of three other injured Akash, Vikas and Yash is not known.
Vehicles parked in the garage were damaged
Two-wheelers were parked in the garage that was demolished in the accident. Garage owner Irshad Raza told that the shop was on rent. Seven vehicles including four bikes and two scooties kept in it were also damaged.
