Jagran correspondent, Meerut. In Lakhipura of Lisadi Gate, a young man, who was under stress due to the arrangement of his girlfriend's relationship, committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday. The police sent the body to the mortuary. After this the police took the mobile of the deceased with them and started investigating the case.
Javed, resident of Lakhipura street number 23, runs a power loom. Javed lives with his family above the power loom. According to relatives, 20-year-old Javed Savage and his brother Sueb were operating the power loom machine at night. At four o'clock in the morning, Sueb had gone upstairs and slept. When Javed came down around five o'clock, he saw that Savage was hanging on the noose of Chunni's scarf. After this the relative informed the police about the incident.
The police sent the body to the mortuary. According to relatives, Savage was in love with a girl. A few days ago, there were talks between the relatives of both of them for the marriage of Savage and the girl, but the girl's mother had refused the marriage. He had fixed his daughter's marriage at another place. The girl was scheduled to get married after Eid, since then Savage was under stress. At present, the police has taken possession of Savage's mobile. Police station in-charge Ashok Kumar says that the call details of the mobile are being scrutinized. Only after this further action will be taken.
Mobile snatched from a young man standing outside the house, knife attack on protestor
In another case, Muzammil son Shahzad, resident of Lakhipura street number 24 of Lisadi Gate area, told that he was standing outside his house watching a video on his mobile. Meanwhile, two brothers, Sameer, Zubair, living in the locality and their friend Sameer's son Munna came there and snatched his mobile.
It is alleged that when Muzammil protested and asked for his mobile, the three of them beat him up and stabbed him several times with a knife. Muzammil was seriously injured after being stabbed in the hand and thigh. When the relatives came out of the house after hearing the screams, the attackers fled from the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the district hospital. Police station in-charge Ashok Kumar says that the attackers are being searched on the complaint of the injured. They will be caught soon.
