Digital Desk, Jalandhar. A case has been registered against two people including gangster Joga Folriwal for the murder of an Aam Aadmi Party leader in broad daylight in Jalandhar district of Punjab.
Officials said on Saturday that a case has been registered against two people, including a foreign-based gangster, in connection with the broad daylight murder of AAP leader Lucky Oberoi in Jalandhar on Friday.
suspicion of personal enmity
Police suspect that personal enmity could be the reason behind the murder. Based on the complaint of the victim's family, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of the BNS and Arms Act at Division 6 police station of Jalandhar Commissionerate against gangster Jograj Singh alias Joga Folriwal, who had claimed responsibility for the murder in an unverified social media post, and Dalbeera, he said. However, the attacker and his accomplice, who were captured on CCTV cameras, are yet to be identified, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace them.

The murder took place on Friday morning
Aam Aadmi Party leader Lucky Oberoi was shot dead by unknown assailants in broad daylight on Friday in Model Town, Jalandhar. According to the information, Lucky Oberoi had gone to Model Town Gurdwara Sahib for some personal work.
He was sitting in his Thar car, when suddenly some attackers reached there and opened fire on him. It is being told that the attackers fired several bullets from very close range, which hit Lucky Oberoi. In a seriously injured condition, he was immediately taken to Shri Ram Specialty Hospital, where doctors tried to save him, but he died during treatment.
