Workers painting the divider on the old Rohtak-Panipat highway in the city. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Gohana (Soni). In view of the increasing fog, the Municipal Council (NP) took steps regarding road safety. The work of re-painting the dividers on the main roads of the city has been started. The painting work on all the dividers will be completed in a week.
The old paint on the dividers had faded, due to which drivers could not see the dividers clearly during dense fog. Due to this, there was a possibility of accidents especially during night and morning. Due to reduced visibility in fog, many times drivers would enter the wrong lane, which could lead to collision between vehicles.
Keeping in mind the problems of the drivers, the Municipal Council is getting the dividers painted in bright colors, so that they are clearly visible from a distance. With this, drivers will have an idea of the right direction and accidents will be effectively curbed.

Due to the new paint, the dividers will be clearly visible, which will provide relief to the drivers. NAP President Rajni Virmani said that some people had advised to paint the dividers in the fog. Acting on the same, work has been started in public interest.
