Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. The administration's stand with the government has become strict regarding illegal buying, selling and hoarding of government land. Under this, the filing and rejection of the land of the Agriculture Department located in Kanti in the name of raiyat has been cancelled. The order of Kanti's then and suspended CO Rishika Kumari has been canceled by DCLR West Sneha Kumari. In this way, 44 decimal land of Agriculture Department has again been registered in its account.

It is noteworthy that out of the land of Seed Extension State, 44 decimals were registered from the District Under Registration Office on November 5, 2024. Naveen Kumar, resident of Sitamarhi, sold the land to Deepak Kumar of Motipur and Gaurav Kumar, resident of Kanti. On his application, Kanti's then CO Rishika Kumari put a stop to it. Whereas the revenue employee had reported that the land belonged to the Agriculture Department.

A recommendation was made to reject the application for rejection, but Rishika Kumari ignored the recommendation and froze the land. Whereas in Kanti Kasba Mauza of Kanti region, 22.77 acres of land of Agriculture Department is registered in Khatian. Farming is being done here by the Agriculture Department for years in the Government Seed Multiplication Field.

Dainik Jagran published this matter prominently. Taking cognizance of this, the then Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha ordered a detailed investigation into the matter. Additional Collector Kumar Prashant held CO Rishika Kumari responsible for this in the investigation report. Later the department also suspended him.

Agriculture Sub-Divisional Officer, Western filed an appeal against the order of the CO in the DCLR Western office regarding the matter. In the hearing, DCLR Western found the claim of the Agriculture Department of the said land to be true. After this the CO's application was rejected. At the same time, action is being taken from the Additional Collector regarding cancellation of the Jamabandi.

In the case of illegal accumulation of 16.86 acres of land in Variyarpur Mauza of Motipur zone, the sword of action has been suspended against the then CO. DM has recommended action against former CO Ruchi Kumari. Meanwhile, in the hearing of the appeal filed-dismissal of 52 decimal land of Variyarpur Mauje, DCLR West Sneha Kumari found that the said land belongs to the Bihar government. It has been registered in the name of Baban Sahni. A person named Dhanik Sahni has filed a filed-dismissal appeal. He has asked the CO to provide a detailed report of the land.
