Digital Desk, New Delhi. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said affordable education and healthcare are the needs of every person and should be decentralised.
Speaking at the inauguration of Pandit Deendayal Cancer Hospital in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, Bhagwat said cancer has a devastating impact not only on patients but also on their families. He urged the society to cooperate in serving the patients.
Bhagwat said that we will not need money but time to serve the needy. He said that diseases like cancer can be caused by anything like stress, pollution, adulterated food.
He further said that the causes of cancer are not certain. God has given us a body and we should use it to serve humanity. We have to spare time, not just money. Cancer patients and their families need emotional strength and support. We have to ensure that facilities like this cancer hospital function effectively.
