Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Even after the death of a Class IV employee of Lucknow University, his son and grandson continued to fraudulently take pension from the department for six years. The nephew of the deceased has filed a case in Kaiserbagh police station on the orders of the court.
Inspector Anjani Kumar Mishra said that the complaint was given by Ayush, resident of Paharpur, BKT. According to Ayush, his uncle was a class IV employee in the Physics Department of Puttalal University. He retired in 2002 and died in December 2017.
After his death, Puttilal's son Ram Bahadur, grandsons Abhishek, Vivek and Vishal showed him alive in the documents. Cheated the pension department and the university.
A relative, Chunnilal, was appointed in place of his father, got his thumb implanted and continued taking pension till 2023. After getting the information, Ayush had given an affidavit in the university. After this the fraud came to light. Inspector said that a case has been registered and investigation has been started.
