Neither tears came to his eyes nor his hands trembled while brutally murdering the mother who gave birth to him after keeping him in the womb for nine months and the father who pampered him.
Jagran correspondent, Jaunpur. Even a professional criminal cannot commit such a heinous crime as the B.Tech degree holder son Ambesh Kumar did. On the night of December 8 last, he killed his parents with an iron stick used for crushing spices. After this, he cut the dead bodies of the parents into several pieces with the TMT (Saria) cutter machine, then filled them in a sack and threw them in the river and, pretending that they were missing, started searching for them himself. Neither tears came to his eyes nor his hands trembled while brutally murdering the mother who gave birth to him after keeping him in the womb for nine months and the father who pampered him.
Retired railway loco pilot Shyam Bahadur, a native of Tadwan (Thanagaddi) of Kerakat Kotwali, was found dead in Ahmedpur Cantonment Gauriana of the area. Shyam Bahadur's sister Shakuntala Devi of Sindhora, Varanasi used to inquire about the well-being of her brother and sister-in-law on mobile phone every morning and evening.
Shakuntala Devi contacted Ambesh on mobile after finding her brother's phone switched off on the night of December 8 and morning of December 9. Ambesh told aunt Shakuntala that the parents had gone missing somewhere. He himself is searching for them. On December 9, Ambesh had gone to Tadwan, but did not mention his parents' disappearance to anyone there. After this Ambesh's phone started saying switched off. On December 12, Vandana informed Jafrabad police station that her parents had gone missing. Brother Ambesh, who went out to search for him, is also missing. Police registered a missing case and started searching.
The entire incident came to light after Ambesh was caught.
The police engaged in investigation took Ambesh into custody from Ahmedpur on Monday morning. He kept changing his statement continuously during interrogation. When the police acted suspiciously, he broke down. He admitted that at around 10 pm on the night of December 8, he killed his mother Babita Devi and father Shyam Bahadur by hitting them with a bat. After this, in six hours, the bodies of the parents were cut into six pieces and filled in five empty cement bags with the cutter machine brought to cut the rebar used in the staircase being built on the fourth floor of the house. When both the legs of the mother did not fit in the sack, they were stuffed in the trunk of the car. At three in the morning, he took it to Belaon Ghat and threw it in the Gomti river and returned home. He cleaned the car, parked it, locked it and left the house.
