Jagran correspondent, Agra. Theft incident took place in Vidya Nagar of Nagla Padi late last night. Thieves targeted the house of Sarju Baghel who lives here. At the time of the incident, the family members had gone to Tedi Bagiya to attend a wedding ceremony.
When the relatives returned late at night, they found the locks of the house broken and the belongings lying scattered. According to the victim Sarju Baghel, the thieves stole jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh and cash worth Rs 1 lakh from the cupboard.
On information, police reached the spot and started investigation. The police have started inspecting the house and scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby.
Inspector New Agra Rajeev Tyagi said that action will be taken by registering a case on the basis of the complaint. CCTV footage is being checked to identify the thieves.
