Jasan, Agra. The team of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) will not test the metro from Mankameshwar station at Bijli Ghar intersection to ISBT station every day but at an interval of two days. Metro testing will continue in this manner for three weeks. After this, testing will be done every day at speeds of five to 90 km per hour. On Wednesday, the UPMRC team inspected the six km long track.
UPMRC has started testing from Mankameshwar to ISBT station from Tuesday. On the first day the metro made only one trip. Metro was not tested on Wednesday. After testing, tracks, signals, electricity and others were checked. The six km long track has four underground and one elevated station.
The metro will be tested in the up line for two months. A UPMRC official said that testing of the metro in the down line will start from the last week of January.
