Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. After the state government's announcement of starting AI mission in the budget of 2026-27, the state's first AI compute hub will be established in Yida area. YIDA on Thursday issued a letter of intent to the company for allotment of 289 acres of land to AM Group for AI Compute Hub.

The company will make a phased investment of Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the YEIDA area. The first phase will be completed in 2028. Full capacity will be achieved by 2030. It will be equipped with five lakh high performance chipsets. From data center to manufacturing of semiconductor chips and establishment of AI compute hub in Gautam Buddha Nagar, a complete eco-system of state-of-the-art technology will be created. This will provide employment to thousands of people. Gautam Buddha Nagar had established its identity in the country as an IT hub, but after electronics device manufacturing, now data centre, semiconductor and AI hub is developing. Gautam Buddha Nagar will be the only district in the state to prepare such an eco-system.

AM Group's one gigawatt AI compute hub

5 lakh state-of-the-art high performance chipsets will be prepared. The first phase production will start by 2028. Full capacity will be achieved by 2030. The AI ​​Compute Hub will have a green data center powered by carbon-free energy. There is potential for large scale foreign direct investment. Ecosystems will be created for hardware manufacturing, software development, specialized cooling technologies.

The entire value chain from on-demand electrons to intelligent tokens will be developed to meet the growing demand for AI and high performance computing in the country. This token will provide AI solutions for energy, health, manufacturing, automobile, media, gaming and cloud services.

YIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh has handed over the consent letter for allotment of 114 acres of land in Sector 28 and 175 acres of land in Sector 8D to Anil Kumar, Managing Director of AM Group.

Semiconductor chip manufacturing unit being set up

Data centers have been established in Noida and Greater Noida. The foundation stone for the state's first semiconductor chip manufacturing unit in Yida will be laid on February 21. M/s India Chip Pvt., a joint company of HCL and Foxconn. Ltd. Investing more than Rs 3700 in this. 240000 chips will be produced annually.

The agreement was signed in Davos

Representatives of AM Group had met state Finance Minister Suresh Khanna in Davos and expressed their desire to develop an AI hub. An MOU was signed between the company and Invest UP. Recently, the company officials met the YIDA CEO and took information about the location of the land in the YIDA area.
