Be it VIPs associated with power or top officials, everyone comes on the national highway connecting Delhi to Lucknow. Toll is not collected from special people and officials associated with the government. Despite this, such people do not even see darkness on the road.
Social worker Pankaj Lodhi, Jai Singh Rana told that toll is being collected from vehicles as tax for 15 years. If the road is not cleaned, the road remains dark from the toll onwards till Brajghat. Darkness during foggy season directly invites accidents to the drivers. It has been dark on the national highway for a long time at night.
Pilgrimage priest Pawan Sharma, Vishnu Dutt Nagar told that toll is being collected from vehicles, yet there is darkness on the road. Devotees face a lot of trouble in the dark on the road about three kilometers from the toll to Brajghat. Apart from Amavasya and Purnima of every month, lakhs of people travel here and there on the National Highway.
